A Secret Mission for Your Bridesmaids

Bridal boudoir photographs have traditionally been given to the groom as a beautiful album or a box of prints, usually on the morning of the wedding. But I’ve recently discovered a rather cheeky alternative, and I absolutely love it!

Imagine this: the ceremony is over, the celebrations are underway, and one of your bridesmaids casually approaches your new husband, hands him a little envelope and says, “Oh, I think you dropped this!” Inside there are boudoir polaroids of his new wife.

A little later, another bridesmaid appears with another envelope. And then another. And another. He never knows when the next little surprise is coming.

If you haven’t come across this idea yet, search for “bridesmaids giving groom boudoir Polaroids”, there are some absolutely hilarious videos showing how it works:

How to Create Your Own Wedding Day Surprise

The beauty of this idea is that it doesn’t require any complicated planning: all you need is a collection of bridal boudoir photos, a few Polaroid-style prints and some bridesmaids who can keep a secret.

You can decide how many photographs you’d like to give him and when each one should make its appearance. Perhaps the first arrives during the drinks reception, another during dinner and a few more throughout the evening celebrations. And, of course, you can make the photographs as romantic, playful or daring as you feel comfortable with.

I’ll Even Print Them for You!

If you’re planning a bridal boudoir photoshoot with me, I’d be delighted to help you put this little surprise together. I’ll crop your chosen photographs to suit the square Polaroid-style format and arrange for them to be printed, at no extra cost, so you’ll have everything ready to hand over to your bridesmaids.
